U of A was on my daughter's initial list of schools solely because it had her program. It was quickly crossed off because it's in Alberta. UBC was in her short list but I said I couldn't afford to drop her off or pick her up or even get her home for breaks.

Sadly though, you may have to dial it back a bit at MSU. They were going all in on PC bs last time I saw them in the local Bozeman news as they were catching flack for having an absurdly high budget for their "Diversity and Inclusion" department. You're gonna be a rock star at the place, but you've been warned, buddy. College is a very different landscape than it was when most of these geezers went there. Back in the day it was more "Animal House." Now you better be on your game with your Keanu Reeves-esque no-contact policy. Treat the ladies like the LDS would want you to, be prepared to apologize for your cis white male privilege, and maybe you'll be a-ok. Haha.

No its the university of Alberta is in Edmonton, they useta give out 50 scholarships for 25K every year and there is a good engineering program , people come out and get good jobs

Years ago the AM station I used to listen to Reds games on would go to an over the road trucking show from midnight on after the ballgame was over. On road trips it was comical as hell listening to the calls from the truckers bitching about this and that.

They all used their CB handles when they called in. One very colorful and frequent caller was named Monkeypuncher or Monkeygouger or something like that. One of our own mags had met him in some capacity or another in fact, Guroo maybe?

Anyway, SUF, if you ever change your username here I'd strongly suggest something along these lines.

I useta work with an ex-pro canadian who did school down south, played canadian, had the ring and he explained football to me as it was in the excited states, how you can watch football every day of the week and what game pro/ college/ HS

Hockey is kind of like that
