    Packed and heading to the Airport shortly. Stoked to see the pics starting to roll in.
    Really want to say thank you again to all that made this possible for me as well as the other three mags on sponsorship. Can’t wait to meet new mags and catch up with old friends from this incredible community. TGR really is a special group of like minded , kind individuals…….

    Such a perfect Buster turn.

    Meanwhile I sit here in my BBIEuro merch -- which while dope -- just makes me more FOMOy. Enjoy boys. So excited for Djongo and Raising. Both have shown me the stoke in person or in photos.

Its hard to explain, but the culture just normalized and respects the mountains in a way that just doesn't really exist around here.

    Agreed. I’d like to know what those two got up to yesterday.

    Criscam has already posted some good ones but maybe I’ll sift through and post a few.

    we were moving too fast (swiss guides are incredibly quick point to point) for the camera to come out much yesterday, but some gnar points were earned off the gemsstock given current conditions

    Nice! Thought that looked like Piz Maler. Man I wished we got that when I was there. Next time for sure.
    Wow the lack of snow on the Gemstock took me by surprise.
    Damn that meat plank looks unreal!
    Give Vendul and Serena a big hug for me guys.

    " We all make turns that are different... "

    No truer words were spoken to me today.

    I've been skiing with mags, most of whom I'd not met before, and seeing how it ultimately doesn't matter much how well you turn, but how much you want to.

    Banging around in such a phenomenal environment must bring out the best in us as the vibe amongst the crew has been topnotch.
    And the conditions have been less than soft mostly, yet nary a soul has complained.

    Even on the sketchball rattle steeps of the guided groups, hairy traverses or milk bottle braille laps on pretty damn steep groomers.
    At speed, you did not want to fall cuz your slide could involve blood promptly off the side.

    Mags are teaming up to ski like minded laps and getting to know new turners and what they're all about.
    So many interesting people and the stories are off the hook. The laughter factor has been turned up to 11 and although we don't all do things alike, everyone seems to be easy going and adapting as it plays out.
    The level of consideration for others is admirable to say the least...

    I got a sweet room with a balcony. It overlooks the mini livestock pen from the neighbor, One day it's 20 mini goats, the next it's 30 sheep.
    The big Swiss dairy cows are just up around the bend. They are beautiful.

    I rented a pair of Volkl M6 demos in a 191 and am absolutely loving them. And I forgot the value in having some edge. They feel divine and I can rock them right outta the gates like a banshee. Let's roll...
    We skied a bunch of laps on the Gemsstock tram yesterday and ended up skiing 22 miles in about 6 hours. The day before could have been double that skiing from rueras to andermatt, multi tram laps then back to town and the lodge.

    The Mountain Lodge.
    Comfortable, Clean, Cool and run by a genuine TGR mag, Vendul, who can deliver the goods. The food is outstanding, the prices are sooooooo reasonable for all that he and his wife provide. And the vibe they create, while trying to run a successful business, is absolutely Idyllic to this crusty old ski bum.
    It's fucking AWESOME.
    And it all is because of Vendul and his special Lady friend.
    I envy his position and situation, what a life adventure, running a business in the Swiss Alps.
    Thank You my new Friend. I only hope that some day I can attempt to provide you two with such a bucket list moment...

    To everyone who pitched in on this for me and the other brothers, I don't even know how to explain what a moving trip this has been for me.
    In many ways, I've kinda been around the block. Yet, here I am, at 56, a babe in the woods.
    With your donations you've transported me to a higher level of Nirvana than I was aware of. Seriously.
    I consider myself one of the luckiest mags on here for my skiing life. Now, I question whether or not I've just been reborn.

    Hang on, I got something in my eye...

    And yeah, they're pretty red.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Thank you to everyone. Please let me know if I can ever do anything for you. I am in your debt. And I'm a Man who pays.
