The link buster put up said airlines were required to check that a negative test had been done starting in January 2022 and to deny boarding without it. So US is making the airlines the gatekeepers. Good to know about 24/7 availability by appointment. How much was it for kit and call?

Hey folks, two things:
1) if an airline loses your shit, and you didn’t follow Buster’s advice, and you need outerwear, holla at me, I have stuff I can lend.
2) there are some pretty easy ways to get Covid tests to get home in Zurich. By my place at Hardbrucke in Zurich, there’s a Covid Test Bus open 7 days a week with basically no lines and a result by email in 30 minutes. Hardbrucke is on the way to the airport from main station.

EUROBBI2022 MARCH 1-20 2022 MOUNTAIN LODGE SEDRUN, SWITZERLAND
As an example, here is my travel gear a couple years ago minus my boots. Hope this helps with ideas on how to pack. The cube travel organizers are the shit by the way. TSA will make sure that your nice and neatly packed ski bag will be a complete fucking disaster when you arrive at your final destinations. So thoughtful of them….

Sorry I meant asked by customs in the US to show results. You were?
And yep, ticket/gate agent verifies at return origination. We had to show test results to board from IST to CDG and then again boarding from Paris to the US. But nothing upon entry, which was good since the lady putting the sticker on our boarding pass in CDG kept them.

Right, sorry I didn’t explain well. Airlines are the gatekeepers. From my experience they don’t really give a damn as long as you show them something.
I think the kits were like $70 for two for my wife and I. Probably more expensive than a local option but very convenient.

Yep at immigration on arrival.
I assumed it was a random spot check since yes check in is the state department gatekeeper.
Also beware of some of the smarter bluetooth linked test kits by Ellume(?) A whole batch of those we had at work sent back errors/unable to send result.

The first line we skied off the Gemstock at the OG BBIEuro we started down here. Saw a patroller setting up nets on this corner who told us we could go right around the nets and skie the 5-700' verticle chutes right below -- CascadeLuke and TAFKALS got after it. Pretty mindblowing experience being able to ski whereever the fuck you want.

I am definitely late to the party but not too late I hope - what wired times this has all been with covid and summer and I don't know what. But I think I will be ready to ski with you again this winter. On the 9th I have a very big hand in but I guess I'll drop in on the 11th or so if possible.
@Vendul: I'll pm you once I know when you can count me in.
