WE GOT A GRADE A BADASS OVER HERE!!

But yeah, looks super rad. Not sure I'm fired up to see movies in theaters at the moment, but I certainly want to see this at some point.

I’m excited. An old friend/coworker was producer and shot some of it. Hopefully, will be able to view at home sooner than later.

Marc was a member of a climbing forum I used to participate in. He started posting trip reports when he was about 15 years old and the early ones involved snow climbs while wearing blue jeans.

I never knew the guy but it sure was bizarre following his career from the start. He sure seemed like a conscientious and well spoken dude as well as an amazing climber.

Yep. It's available on YouTube TV for about 6 bucks and it is well worth it.

Amazon Prime Streaming (in Canada) . Watched it last night and I have been thinking about it all day. Super good footage.

I think it's on Amazon in Canada. They had a page on their website where you could stream it based on country.

Worth a watch for sure, only hard part is explaining just how ridiculous some of the things accomplished are to a partner who doesn't climb or understand alpinism.

He was a member of a local hiking group Clubtread. Can't post his early TRs because they require membership but here's his last blog post re Robson Emperor Face.

His first post I read he was hiking merrily away in jeans. I remember before his high school grad he soloed NW Cheam. We all pitched in and got him an AST avalanche course. His mum was so stoked

    Dang.
Making me regret not having gone to see it when it was in Reno earlier this fall. Prolly woulda had the theater to myself, too.

May have to check it on NF (though I fear some of the intensity will be lost on the small screen. That, and admittedly, I am neither a climber nor an alpinist. That said I really did enjoy Free Solo...).

Just watched it. An incredibly unique individual. I was going to say that he liked to climb and didn’t care about anything else, but he loved his girlfriend and she accepted him wholly. Amazing.
