That cross check to Rooney's face was just blatant.

Gonna be huge if kings upset the Oilers and Mcjesus.
Also I don't think Leah Hextall is that bad, I agree that the sound guys the other night made herself commentary worse. That said I prefer to listen to regional announcers if possible.
And Mark Rycroft might have the best hockey mullet of any announcer(sorry Melrose).

Not that bad should not be the criteria to be qualified to call playoff games. She has not put in the time calling games for years and it shows. Which means, she is there for reasons other than her ability to call a game.
I turned the flames game off after making it part way into the first period.sigless.

Wearing a Whalers sweater today for the away game in Boston. No, I'm not actually GOING to the game but trying a different routine because the wearing the Hurricanes jersey for the last 2 games there didn't work hahahaha..
Go that way really REALLY fast. If something gets in your way, TURN!

Wild we’re out coached and out strategized. Like I said before the series started, we will lose if we didn’t make some system changes to give the Blues a different look. They know how to expose us and we never adapted.
Hope The Av’s sweep them in round 2.

Every season the Hurricanes have trouble getting out muscled by the Bruins. A little better this season, but still not doing a good enough job pushing the Bs out of the screen and tip zone or holding that ice area themselves.. ..
Still weird how every home game has been a virtual blowout for the home team though..Go that way really REALLY fast. If something gets in your way, TURN!

Starting with Guerin putting Flower in net to start the series - always go with the hot goalie in the playoffs and Talbot was the better goalie down the stretch. He should have had the game 1 start. Special teams just sucked this series and that definitely falls on the coaches. Av's - Blues could be an interesting series - best power play going against one of the top PK's. 2nd best team in the west and they're bumped in the first round yet again.

Caps once again proving to be too old and slow for the playoffs.
Or maybe it was the wave: https://russianmachineneverbreaks.co...he-series-yes/

Wilson down did not help, but they were barely playoff worthy by the end of the season

NHL 2021-2022 Season
Not just that last few years
It always seemed like the top gear was missing
Make the playoffs…miss out on a close series against filly or the isles
The win a couple seasons ago was the anomaly

Wins by Carolina, Toronto, and Edmonton would make me happy today.

I'd like to see Toronto, Edmonton and Calgary in the second, but the realist in me thinks Edmonton and Toronto will choke, the flames will advance and get knocked out next round.
