Was a scrum in the corner and he came in to defend his teammate. Threw like 4 or 5 punches and bloodied up the guy(cant remember who) and then started skating to the box before refs even got there. I cant embed worth a shit but it's worth googling the clip. Avs game last night.

Calgary, Florida and I think Colorado are all postponed until after Christmas. Not only are those teams schedules screwed up, but also the teams they’re playing against…why not just give everyone an extended Christmas break and resume the season after Christmas? 8-9 days off should clear up any issues since the majority are vaccinated and wouldn’t be (as) contagious after the break.

I could see them just cancelling games for affected teams and go off points % for playoff rankings. Once you get beyond a certain number of games cancelled it will get pretty hard to re-schedule. Unless NHL skips the Olympics and uses that time to make up missed games.

Calgary has 32 people in COVID protocol! The entire team besides 2 players and the entire training staff. Believed to be Omicron.

I've got tickets for a Hurricanes vs Habs game Friday the 30th... It's a Christmas gift for the kid.. (and me of course). Hope it isn't postponed. He's back from college and can't use them after the 14th of Jan.

The fact that the last Caps Penguins, Ovechkin Crosby matchup was on espn+ streaming only, is a major fuckup!

Statement below from NHL release was interesting. So, it's ok to postpone games til a future date for revenue purposes? Or could they just not figure out the logistics of which fans are out of luck at 50% capacity.
Nine other games were postponed because of attendance restrictions in cities in Canada

We have tickets for Canes v s Habs tomorrow. Fingers crossed but not all that confident it will happen. Kid goes back to college in 2 weeks so a reschedule might not work for us..
