    Pool fun.

The dad's were goin big at the pool today during adult swim. Wife caught a live photo of me goin off the board. Good times. One of my buddies ruptured his eardrum playing jump or dive.

    I miss diving boards.

Tore mine out the day I bought the house. Sadly the pool bottom was totally unsafe for a board.

So I built a picnic table for a dive platform. But there is nothing like having a spring board.

Our hood had the most epic dive board. You could get major altitude off it, for a "low" dive. 2.5s were a regular phenom, saw a teen get a 3.0 once. My PR a double and a face plant (2.25?). very large "olympic?" size 12ft deep, but some fuckin nut in county deemed it unsafe and made us replace it with a piece of shit that has virtually no spring. The dive team has to have away meets only now.

They also took away our Margareta machine but that's another matter. We do have full court water basketball that has led to some blood in the water. Good times.

The local spot has no diving boards. Major oversight, cause they’re character building and make going to the pool way more fun. Our local pool growing up had a high and a super springy low into 15’. Man, I miss that.
Remind me. We'll send him a red cap and a Speedo.

Jumped off a driving board at the lake this morning. It's probably been 4 years since I was on one. Couldn't time the bounces well enough to be comfortable flipping but diving is pretty satisfying for now. It's a fun end to a swim, especially without lifeguards.
