Oh and I'm lucky enough to have been able to say Fuck Amazon last year when I moved from a very remote mountain town to the state's 'big city' where I have options. Basically as soon as I could I stopped buying from A as I can now shop locally. I realized not everyone has this available, so I do not blame the consumer.

I think Uber and Lyft are still losing money on most rides.

When I was a relatively young new-hire at a regional, a bitter old (probably 40, lol) captain said, "you know, if you took your hat, walked down the aisle and asked every passenger we carry today to put a single dollar in it, you'd have more by the end of the day than what you're getting paid"
Thanks Captain Obvious!

That is a very interesting development. I wonder if they have non-compete agreements with all their employees so they can't be hired by another contractor? An employee owned company where the "right to work" with steadfastly enforced non-competes might be amusing.
Re: wal-mart, read their website's TOS sometime if you want a good laugh. At this rate I give it to about 2023 until by visiting there you'll automatically be signing over the rights to naming, sports franchise fandom and wheel diameter selection for yourself and any and all offspring throughout the known and unknown universe for all time. (Not that Amazon is better.)

So you don’t think people like Bezos should pay taxes? Is it okay for him to treat his employees like shit? Is it okay that he uses the roads and other infrastructure that he doesn’t pay for to make his billions? What does Bezo’s jizz taste like?
I don’t use Amazon btw.

Woosh. Dunfee is hating on Bezos, and all the high compensated Millennials he hired to help get him there.
I can redeem my Amex points on Amazon. Can’t do that elsewhere. Not traveling a ton right now so it’s a decent use of them.
