    Nicolas Cage

Whatever else can be said about him and his body of work he's highly entertaining, and he's made some real classics. If you're a fan, as I am, you'll probably find carving out twenty minutes to watch this worthwhile...

I watched one of his earliest ones, Valley Girl, yesterday. Only place I could find it online was The ROKU Channel, but even though had to put up with some commercials it was uncut/uncensored. He was great in it.

Family Man is an Xmas tradition for me but yeah, Valley Girl is a classic for the soundtrack alone.

It makes perfect sense...until you think about it.

I suspect there's logic behind the madness, but I'm too dumb to see it.

He's an amazingly versatile actor. He's certainly made a lot of what Alec Baldwin laughingly has called "IRS Movies", but he makes just about anything he's in interesting at the very least.

Pig looks great, will have to check that one out.

    Watching Leaving Las Vegas now.

The ONLY Nicholas Coppola film I enjoyed.

He’s as horrible of an “actor” as Keanu Reeves. Although robot Keanu was perfect in the Matrix

    BIRDY (1984)

Directed by Alan Parker (Midnight Express; The Wall; Angel Heart)
    Musical score by Peter Gabriel
    Co-starring Matthew Modine

    Highly recommended.

Presently streaming on Prime and Tubi.
