WTB/ISO: Big and Long pow ski

    How's it!

I'm looking for a long (185-192 cm) and wide (110mm + but preferably not wider than 120 mm) resort ski to spend the winter in LCC with this year as I'm gonna be working at the Alta Lodge. I'd prefer something a tad on the heavier side and more directional, but I'm open to most anything so just let me know what you've got. It would be sweet if it was on the newer side and in pretty decent condition as I'm sure these skis are gonna get a lot of use this winter.

Look forward to hearing from ya!

P.S. mounted or unmounted is totally cool

    Moment Commander 108 in 194?

2 mounts & full disclosure, shop guys let em fall over when tuning (prior to clamps) so they have a mild, 1mm, side compression..... has not bothered me- but it does lower the price.

    Cheers.

20/21 Blizzard Rustler 11s, 192cm. Two sets of inserts: 1) STH 16s for 305mm @ +2.5. 2) Shifts for 305 @ +1.5. Core shot near edge that was welded, no compression or edge damage though. The 192s are 116mm underfoot.

    2014 Blizzard Gunsmokes, 192cm. 3 sets of inserts: STH 16s for 305mm @ +3 S Adrenalines @ +2. S outlaws @ +4.

19/20 Dynastar PROTO, 189cm. Kind of a project ski for inserts: STHs for 305mm @ +2.5ish. S outlaws inserts to position from about -2, 0, and + 2 (can't remember exact dimensions, but can get them to you if interested.

Willing to make a deal if you're interested in combining either multiple skis and/or bindings. I don't have the Adrenalines anymore, but I have hardware and bindings to switch the STHs and Shifts around.

Yea... I don’t get itz; yet skis went in strapped upon each other & ended up w same side matching compression. I likely would not have noticed it yet the tech informed me as soon as I picked em up.

Hmmmmm. I might be willing to let go of a pair of 191 DPS Lotus 124 spoons, with or without pivot 18's. Love the skis, don't get too much opportunity to use them. These are the exact same skis that Paul Forward reviewed on Blister. PM me if interested.

I've got some 193 Prior Husumes (110 under foot, 2500g/ski, three seasons) and 192 Cochise 106s from last season I'd let loose.

All for sale, will post a FS thread once it gets closer to winter and I know what I’m actually doing

K2 Mindbender 116c 193cm don’t have much use, mounted once for Kingpins $250 flat

Volkl Shiros 193cm, both blue pairs are in decent conditions, $150 for the flat pair, $200 for the pair with the Jesters. Green pair is actually broken and delaminated under one of the feet, I’m keeping those

203 Volkl Shiros, skied 4 days, was saving for the dream trip to AK, probably not making the cut of skis for that trip, $250

Moment Chiplote Banana 193 cm, skied 10 days, keep grabbing other skis. $400 flat, $500 with Look Pivot 14s

K2 Pon2oon, skied 3 days, found BNIP 18 months ago, perfect ski for the upside down days and the crazy deep days. $350 flat, $550 with P18

I can ship or hand deliver to SLC in August. Not home currently.

Did I miss the previous mounts? Highly likely interested presuming no major hole issues.

K2 Petitor 189 - Skied 3x. Excellent condition. Last year pressed. Black and Gold topsheet.

Tyrolia Attack 16 Black - skied 3x. Excellent condition.

Lots of quiver overlap due to my ski whoreness.

Technically, that is a delam. Edge tab delammed under base.
That raised edge tab will likely be ground through the base @ the next stone grind

[Sorry to derail the thread a bit...]
I assume the edges will pull out a lot easier too, right?

I think I had a pair of Mantras with a similar problem - the edges pulled out easy and the edge tab(s) were rusty. I assumed the ski was probably epoxy starved during fab - causing water invasion and partial delam. (Does that sound reasonable?)

I cut out the base material, drilled a small hole in the T-hold, put a tiny screw, vertically, through it. Worked epoxy into it. Let it dry. Dremel off the head, and welded in base. I sold them super cheap to a friend, but they've apparently skied fine for like 5 years now. (I must have done ok, on my first repair like that...)
