Dammit--I can't find a picture of Didier Drogba lifting his leg on an opponents goal post after scoring a goal. Anyone?

My 13 year old female English pointer lifts her leg. Our 10 year old male squats unless on walks, then its about lifting as high as possible to somewhat hilarious results. He's definitely peed on himself and also fallen over trying to lift his leg as high as possible.

why is it that you will rattle your cage or ring the bell on the doorknob when you need to pee, but have no problem droppin a massive shit on your brand new memory foam dog bed and laying next to it?

*Update* My guy just started to lift his leg at 7 months. If I had to put a number on it he's at 15-25% leg lifting. Still a bit unsteady and almost got blown over by the wind the other day, but seems to be getting the hang of it.

My little dog is the opposite- he will lift his leg higher than one would think it would bend upwards and then occasionally adds a bounce up off of his standing leg to get the wizz even higher on the tree. We’re guessing the emulate a larger/ taller dog

I wonder if the other dogs are fooled? There's apparently a lot of information that dogs can gather from urine.
