Mag Down RIP 2ski2fish4ever
It is with a heavy heart that I announce the passing of John, dba 2ski2fish4ever.
Always a joy to ski with, filled with passion for the sport. One of those guys who would be out no matter the conditions and wondering why others weren't out there. Running into him with his group of young skiers I could always see the joy it brought him to watch them rip around in the woods. I only saw him once this winter, the last I saw him, with a small group of kids and we chatted briefly about the great run of skiing in Jan/Feb. Wish we could have made a few turns.
Gonna miss you Mang

Thanks for posting Vt free. Folks disappear from the board and you often wonder what happened (although there are plenty of reasons to stop posting)

Mag Down RIP 2ski2fish4ever
We never actually connected IRL but had several near misses. Said he’d show me around the bush anytime, which I (total JONG status at the time) thought was pretty cool during my early years here.
Like VTF mentioned, anytime I’d see a post from him it was almost always commenting on what a great day it was skiing, despite the conditions, and wondering where the hell everyone else was.
The last time we skied Sugarbush was a full on rain day over New Years a few seasons ago. Come to think of it, he was probably out there with us!
RIP John

RIP. Sorry late to see this but I met him a few times. He hooked me up like a proper mag with ticket vouchers on and around closing day at bush. I went to his house to pick up and he had some really interesting wood working projects. We rode the lift a few times. Turns out he was friends with another dude I knew from way back.
What's crazy is that when I met him he had just come very close to death when a concrete sluice thing fell off of the vehicle in front of him and went through his windshield and out the back of the truck cab very close to him, but missed.
Will raise a glass this evening.I <heart> hot tele-moms

Hopefully someone in John’s family continues his East coast mantra that it might be raining now but it could always change to snow, but either way it’s a great day to be in the mountains with your family and friends.
