being an HR person for 700 firemen sounds like a massive headache - so congrats on retiring from that drama

but more importantly congrats on retiring from it all! What an emotional day this must be. Will take time to process all this - which your vision quest will definitely help kick start!

HR?!? No wonder you had so much time to post on the TRG! Congrats Seano.

I imagine it's going to be a helluva load off. Keep me posted if you need Methow/NCNP advice.

Congrats and thanks for your service. My brother is a firefighter and he has about 5 years to go. I've got about 3 months before I really retire (20 years active military, 20 years fed govt) and it's so close I can taste it. Goodonya.

Scientists now have decisive molecular evidence that humans and chimpanzees once had a common momma and that this lineage had previously split from monkeys.

You must know Mr. Gouch, Mr. Benjey, and Mr. Jason Martinez? Know Tim Henley? Work with “cones” as a paramedic preceptor in town?

Thanks everyone for the well wishes. I'm headed to one of our stations to have lunch, then I'm getting on the rig for the last time and they are taking me home.....And I'm tearing up as I type this.
    Congratulations man.
