    Thanks for the PSA.

I'm kinda in the market for a new hardshell - but my last/currnet TNF one didn't have a double main zip. I don't want to make that mistake again...

The FL doesn't seem to have a double zip either. What's up with that? Is this the new "normal?"
    Why? To save 5 grams?

If I got to pee, I'd really rather avoid peeing on the hem of my hardshell. A double zip makes that a lot easier.
Same with getting into pockets, adjusting something on the underlayer etc.

Probably should go in the "shit that annoys you thread," I know.

My standard is that if MiCol puts it in his FRS jackets, it's necessary, He puts 2-way zippers in them.

Thanks for the heads up. Just grabbed a chemical pant in L, took a bit of a gamble with sizing. If it doesn't work out I'll post it up on here.

I can't speak for Flylow but IME two way zips are more finicky to use and more likely to fail. I personally don't prefer them unless I'm wearing a harness.
    To each their own.

Non directed at flylow specifically, but wish clothing manufacturers would get their act together on making better touring jackets.

Fwiw, I like my Stio Environ Jacket with a bottom zipper. But as someone said, the zipper was more fragile and did get damaged after a couple seasons and I lost a few teeth. That said, they are hooking up a new jacket for free once the next line comes out so I'm not mad.
