The new Stockli Stormrider 105 is a powerful ski for aggressive skiers who don't want to slow down for anything. Made with Stockli's VRT (Vario Race Technology) the Stormrider 105 has a thinner profile in the top Titanal Layer in the tip that reduces vibrations and allows for easy turn initiation and smooth carves. The Powder Rocker Profile uses a rockered tip and a traditional profile on the rest of the ski that enhances your flotation in the deep snow. SST Sidewalls deliver a precise energy transfer and the type of edge hold you would expect on a World Cup Race Ski. Stockli's TFC (Tail Flex Control) has a rubber insert on the tail of the Stormrider that gives you more control by allowing the ski to drift at the exit of a turn. The Ash and Fuma blended core and TiTech Construction create a very damp and powerful feeling that is capable of keeping you stable when you are skiing as fast as you possible can on the Stockli Stormrider 105.

I paid $400 in March for an identical pair. Resort’s rental fleet, had less than 10 days on them. Bases were pristine and they tossed in a free tune.

They are a great ski in 2-8” of snow of any type - like a cross between a Kenworth tractor and a Ferrari

ETA - as long as you drive them from the front seat…
Get lazy and you will be punished.

Were they the newer but wimpier types (that don’t rip) I read about in another Stockli thread?

Geezus, sometimes I feel bad for selling our demos because they aren't pristine cosmetically. Those base are a frikkin crime.
