Wait, there's a thread for that?

My cousin from LA is housesitting for me in PDX now. He's inland and told me he was looking forward to getting away from LA's hot weather - apparently it cracked 110 in his neighborhood last summer. The day he arrived, it was like 92 in Portland and 72 in LA. Sorry cuz.

Well yeah sadly my friend just sent me a screenshot of 3% humidity to go along with the 101 temps at like 7pm.

It’s not the heat it’s the humidity.

Hate that on the low end as well. 40s in winter sounded warm to me- maybe I'm older but up here in mossland it often feels like 30s to me, and it lasts 10 months.

My drunk ass neighbor never disappoints. What a mess. That is a link to a LA heat warning. She's a fucking shitshow, who should know better, but never does. She banged on my door on Sunday because she was wasted and ran over a rock and came through town with a flat tire but was too fucked up and just wanted some man input.

I told her to take a nap and move it off of main street. That was at 11. Someone fixed it for her the next day.

Ms Boissal took one of the chickens in the house to cool off, I think it was not far from keeling over.

    Bitch about the weather, HERE!

Cool with low dewpoints back East. Steady breeze from the NW. Perfect summer weather.

The auditorium wasn't packed which kept me slightly cooler than I thought but the poor dancers looked like they were about to keel over a few time.

I've got a coworker who is about to move to DC. I just lmfao at him when I check the weather as he thinks he'll be ok. No, mother fucker it's hot and humid.

Look you fuckwits, this is the "bitch about the weather" thread, not the "be a smug asshole about how nice the weather is where I am" thread.

To that point, it's hotter than Satan's left testicle here.

    We'll meet again
    Don't know where
    Don't know when
But I know we'll meet again some sunny day
    We'll meet again
    Don't know where
    Don't know when
But I know we'll meet again some sunny day
    Keep smiling through
    Just like you always do
    'Til the blue skies
Drive the dark clouds far away
So will you please say hello
To the folks that I know
Tell them it won't be long
    They'll be happy to know
That as you saw me go
    I was singin' this song
    We'll meet again
    Don't know where
    Don't know when
But I know we'll meet again some sunny day

For once, at the moment, it's not us (EWA). We'll be in the 90s but that's pretty normal for us but just to add a twist and to make my life more stressful my old T-bred has developed anhidrosis. Poor guy, it's a real nightmare. constant cold hosing is all I can do for him short of relocating him to the west side.

An eighth of the US population is sweltering under a record-breaking heat dome. Climate change is making it worse

"No easy way to say this, so we'll just cut straight to the chase: it's going to be *very* hot for a *long time*," tweeted the National Weather Service in Salt Lake City in the lead-up to this historic heat wave.
When you see something that is not right, not just, not fair, you have a moral obligation to say something. To do something." Rep. John Lewis

Currently 93 in my office. AC has been out for 2+ weeks. The guy that was supposed to fix it was out sick last week and we're still waiting on a part. The smoke and clouds help a little. It's fucking hot.

PS, that comma in the thread title is superfluous
