    Good Times.

    Ugh! Thats terrible!

I forgot to swap out Woods yesterday and change my 2X rider from Alaphillipe but didn't fair too bad with Alaphillipe taking 5th. If the Sagan/Ewen crash hadn't happened I would have gotten another 150 probably....but so would the Ewen holders...so probably a wash.

They should give everyone an extra 100 pts for swaps....with all the crashes with big names there are going to be more swaps by all teams this season!

Roglic looked okay, just torn up. Thomas thought he had a separated shoulder if so he'll continue. Sagan got right up and looked okay but Ewan stayed down for a long time.

Roglic nothing broken but "wounds everywhere." He lost just over a minute to GC contenders.

It has been so chaotic this year. It really changes the dynamic, but at what cost to the athletes.

Must see if you're into that whole "faces of death" genre.

2021 TDF Fantasy League SPOILER ALERT

So bummed about Robert Gesink, I follow him on Strava, he always posts the best pictures from training. He loves bikes, spends a lot of time on his MTB. Always has a great attitude, loves being a worker in the hive.
    Today was ugly.

After watching the final sprint several times, a case can be made the Peter S had a part in Ewen's crash. He leaned into him just enough that it looks like it caused Ewens to clip tires with the next guy up.

Yea, that was a rough day for jumbo.
Lot of unforced carnage today - Thomas and Ewan being Exhibits A and B
The carnage at 10k and 4K looks to be too many riders and not enough real estate. Typical first week

Watch it again. Sagan was third wheel behind the two Alpacin guys. Ewan accelerated and tried to thread the needle. Didn’t have the room between the wall, Sagan and second wheel. He accelerated into the rear of second wheel which put him (and Sagan) down.

Sagan didn’t deviate from his line

i was thinking Ewan was pretty jumpy moving between slots
watch back a bit as he moves up in the finale leading up to the touching of wheels

not blaming at all cuz 1) I had him to win & 2) i'm no expert here...just occurred to me as I was watching
...but he was maybe trying to fit in spots that weren't there?
anyone else get that vibe from watching it?
or is that considered "normal" in a sprint?

I'd rather go to the dentist for a root canal than voluntarily listen to Chris Horner for an additional 17 minutes.

Chapeau to Cav. Was in the right place to jump and sure looked like he out-powered Philipsen.

Couldn’t tell how much Van Moer changed the sprint setup when dropping back. At the very least he took up one lane.

And Hats off to that guy as well - leads for all but 200m. The most important 200m, but still…

So how good is van der Poel in ITT?

And the early leader for most annoying commercial that NBCsn insists on running over and over and over again goes to rock star energy drinks. Almost enough to make me sign up for Eurosport.
