We used to party pretty loud in Ann Arbor--live band. Cops would show up to ask us to turn it down and ignore the people smoking weed in the front hallway. (Mostly the cops came when we rehearsed on Saturday afternoons--the house was next to a Reform rabbi.

Isn't that his job, being marine patrol and riding around in a boat all day? Sounds like he helped a bunch of people get onto his boat. Not like he dove into the water to save them. (Bad idea if you're wearing a gun, ammo, and a lot of other cop gear.

So there's no protocol to prevent 8 cops from emptying their magazines in to a suspect before they're sure whether the suspect is still armed or not?

Nothing to suggest that the highest ranking LEO just takes ONE shot and waiting a few seconds to see how the suspect responds to that before everyone unloads on them from everywhere??

And again, this one handed, no actual safety or having to cock the gun is great for cops rolling solo in a fist fight... but tragic if they grab the gun by accident instead of the taser..
