Can I convert Shimano 148 spline hub to 157?

Bought a Knolly Fugitive LT frame that is using Super Boost rear hub spacing (157). Is it possible to convert a DT Swiss XM 1650 wheel using Shimano 148 Spline hub to 157?

It's possible, but not a great solution. The hub obviously gets a big spacer, and the disc rotor does as well. And then you'll have to re-dish your wheel ~4.5mm to the non-drive side, which probably requires new spokes. There are some chainline issues too, but those are probably solvable with a lower offset chainring.

So basically... when all is said and done, it's probably best to go new rear wheel or rear hub rather than trying to make existing hub work.

Yeah, pretty much. Realistically a whole new wheel, since if you got a new hub, you'd need new spokes too.
