Two thoughts from a NE guy about post-game discussions from the last week...
1) Bill B gives a typical press conference "we need to play better and coach better at every level" and then APOLOGIZES TO THE PRESS THE NEXT DAY???
Nothing different than his press conferences from the last 20 years. What's with the apology?
2) TB12 says he (and everyone else) would rather be hit in the head than the knees.
Huh? Are all NFL players dumb enough to think about the short term consequences more than the long term? Does the NFL now need a strike zone where the babies can only be hit between the thigh and the shoulder?

lots of players never made it back from a blown-out knee -
short-term, they recover from head injuries, and it is all about getting that second (big) contract
( there is a reason the average nfl career is three seasons )
the hit on Godwin was not a tackle.
