Is he limited to Titans players? I'm not sure how these dealerships are set up, but it would seem geographically the Panthers, Falcons, Indy, and the Striped Ones might be in play.

So Trubisky is gonna play in a division with Burrow, Watson and Jackson… that should go well.
a positive attitude will not solve all of your problems, but it may annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

I think he'll be an upgrade from Ben's final years.

Mason might have more swagger than we realize. He is banging Genie Bouchard after all - https://instagram.com/geniebouchard?...dium=copy_link

Reports out of Cleveland today state that the Browns and Baker are breaking up regardless. The quote being shared was "they want an adult at quarterback".
Damn, that fucking sucks as I think the guy has earned the right to come back and start with a healthy body.
And if "adult" is who you're gunning for, is that Watson? Jimmy G? Really?
I guess it's been a while since we added a new name to the QB jersey.
le sigh.I still call it The Jake.

I had an idea for a TV commercial when I saw this last year:
https://news.kraftheinzcompany.com/p...m/default.aspx
Mason and Genie are living at Heinz Field. Myles Garrett knocks on the main gate and Mason goes to see who it is. Myles is selling ice cream in the little mini football helmets. Mason stares at him for a second or two and then slams the gate shut and runs back into the stadium."timberridge is terminally vapid" -- a fortune cookie in Yueyang

Here we go BMills. We're walking the tightrope. Buckle up.
I get the Tretter move. Tretter's getting old for a O lineman. They save 9 mil by moving on. It is highly likely that in 2 years at 34 or 35 he won't be that awesome anymore, so if they think Nick Harris is ready (and he's done ok playing out of position thus far when guys are hurt) and Bill Callahan signs off I understand it. With that move and the other signings they have something like 25mil of cap room right now. They need to sign up their rookie class plus 2 D Linemen plus a WR, so they need to create space. All good.
But it could also be used, combined with removing Baker's deal, to get Watson's salary under the cap.
And that's the tightrope. Cleveland, right now, when healthy, has a QB that can get them to the playoffs and win. He did it in 2020, so we know it's true. Can he win a superbowl? Who knows? But Baker can win in the playoffs. And this is the first time in 25 years that Browns fans could say that.
If they don't get Watson, and they move on from Baker because of going after Watson, there's almost no plan B. Jimmy G? Please. MAYBE Matt Ryan if Watson goes to Atlanta - and Ryan costs as much as Watson. And he's not the future cause he's really old. And there's aren't any QBs in the draft. It feels like the Browns, right now, are at a hugely important point in their history. Berry and Stefanski just swung for the fences (or Haslem?). If they don't hit the homerun, we might just lose everything and go back to wandering the wilderness. I'm scared, and my fan PTSD is kicking in.
The next few days might determine the fate of the Browns for the next 5 years or more.
And by the way - I've thought about it. I would rather fight to make the playoffs every year with Baker - a loyal guy, a good human, a guy who's loved by his teammates and seems to have outstanding character, then win all the time with Watson. That feels like a deal with the devil. I could root for Baker like I rooted for Kosar. Baker would (and almost did last year) kill himself for Cleveland. That matters to me.

NFL 2021/2022
I’d take Jimmy G over the current Matt Ryan. He’s also a huge locker room guy- his teammates love him and he’s definitely an “adult” whatever that means, considering how he handled this past season. He’s also better than most think when he’s healthy, which to be fair isn’t often.
People bring up the super bowl without looking at details. He was outplaying Mahomes until he got cracked in the head (no call on that, I should add).I ski 135 degree chutes switch to the road.

He’s 38 and not a QB. That’s crazy shit depending on what’s guaranteed.

This. This. This. This. This.
My fan PTSD is at an all time high for this new-ish era.
FKNA, do the right thing. Roll with Shake n Bake.
Read Cleveland.com today? Labbe’s column made a lot of sense. If you make Watson the face of the franchise, the face of the city, is that really what you want?
Love your last paragraph so much. I’ll roll with Baker just like Bernie, just get us a playoff win and the hope of a ring and I’m happy. I’m a Cleveland fan after all, expectations are low anyway, lol.I still call it The Jake.

Contracts are growing rapidly. Elite pass rushers are making ~$24M+ annually. $17.5M through 2024 isn't atrocious.
Bills Defense was #1 in many categories last year. Defensive dominance is far more challenging to sustain than offensive, but this is a move that keeps them at the top.
