Interesting take on the Flores firing...
https://www.theringer.com/nfl/2022/1...s-stephen-rossAim for the chopping block. If you aim for the wood, you will have nothing. Aim past the wood, aim through the wood.

Funny thing this morning happened. It was 5 degrees and 3 of my 4 tires were reporting low air pressure. They've never had low air pressure before, but it must have been the temperature. I wonder if that happens to footballs too?

This was in an episode of Man in the Arena - fantastic documentary if you haven’t seen it, I highly recommend, love TB or hate him, it’s a great show with a lot of good insights.
Basically; they discussed how the balls are inflated in a 75 degree locker room to exactly 5 psi or whatever, then brought out to a 20 degree field, where they were tested for pressure, and surprise surprise, they were lower.

There is a reason the NFL collected PSI data the following season and declined to release it....
But contrary to what some Pats fans think, they aren't the only team that has been subjected to bizarre over-punishments. The Cowboys and Redskins were punished for going over the cap in a year when there was no cap. The Saints punishment for Bountygate made no fucking sense. But other forms of cheating (Pumped in crowd noise, tampering, coaching trying to trip a player, etc) get a slap on the wrist and no publicity.
Their is a tradition of NFL owners going after each other. If one of them becomes too uppity or influential (Jones, Kraft and Snyder ) the rest of the gang will take you down a notch or two. And if your team wins, you can expect your next transgression to be punished harshly (Saints and Pats).
But an owner can have a mistress who overdoses and dies, or get caught up in a strip mall massage parlor sting, or... do all the shit Daniel Snyder has done, and get a slap on the wrist or no punishment at all because, well that could happen to anyone.

Giants are really gunning for Cleveland’s record of number of most head coaches and general managers in the shortest time period.

NFL 2021/2022
Mara/Tisch are usually for keeping GMs long term but this one ruined Barkley & OBJ and failed to understand how an O-line helps a team

Sssssomebody is gonna get frostbite. Can't the NFL move that game to Sun or Mon when temps will at least be in upper 20's? They moved stuff around for Covid.
