As a donkeys fan I am just glad its over and we can get on with plan B, whatever the hell that is going to be. And I am actually kind of glad they didnt sell the future for him.

The CaP doEsN'T mAtTeR crowd loves this!
They were $30M over, give Rodgers a raise, will franchise Adams and probably resign Jaire Alexander!
Love should be available in a trade now?

That didn't take long, you got your Plan B: Russell Wilson to the Broncos.

Holy fucking shit! Just came to post the same thing. Love it when plan B is so much better than Plan A

Yeah, plan A sucked- trade everything for an aging Q-diva.

I've never been a big Wilson fan, but he's an upgrade over every Broncos QB since PFM

    Plan B: trade everything for a slightly-less aging QB-diva

Baker taking a look around the AFC as it's shaping up today:

EWG, we may have to fire up the thread early this year.

Trade package (Adam Schefter Twitter) :
Seattle gets QB Drew Lock, TE Noah Fant, DL Shelby Harris, two first-round picks, two second-round picks and a fifth-round pick.
Denver gets Russell Wilson and a fourth-round pick.

I like the move. If you want to have a chance against Mahomes and Herbert, you need to swing big.

    NFL 2021/2022

Wow. Happy to have Wilson out of the NFC West but also it seems like he hasn’t been the same since he got drilled in the head during the 2020 season. It will be fun to watch regardless. He was the MVP before that.

Goddamn it, I already know how this ends. Baker comes back and plays very well, and over the course of a couple years the Brownies get good enough to be true contenders. They then get to the AFC 'ship game two years running. Both times they are beaten by the hated Donkey's. Once when Wilson stages a last minute comeback and another when Baker fumbles on the 1 when they are about to go in for the winning score.

    Tell me I'm wrong.

As a Seattle fan, this makes me happy. Wish Pete was shown the door though.
