this season's fantasy squad. got Cook with no. 2 pick but missed out on a top tier receiver. also did not account for the fact that my wr1 and wr2 are on the same fucking team like a moran. but i wouldn't be surprised if Courtland Sutton earns his way to one of those spots after a few weeks. Murray should be a beast and CEH should give solid production. in hindsight, i could have done a lot better but i am mostly satisfied.

Also took Cook with a #2 pick. Then Mahomes early for my second, cuz fuck it.. with the 2nd pick in a snake draft rounds 2 and 3 are only separated by 2 selections by the same guy.

Happy with what I have, but as always the waiver wire will dictate success.

12 team PPR Keeper league I've been with for a decade. We give up 2 rounds for keepers and can wrap them around from year to year with the possibility of multiples, but only one per draft year. I had Kittle in the 11th 2 years ago. Kept him last year for a 9th and this year for a 7th. I'm good with that!

Current concern is Baby Watt thinks he's worth $100 mil and is possibly holding out on a contract and could miss week 1. I'm already over it and have a couple of other IDPs queued for $1 for tomorrow's waivers. (We do waivers Wed and Sun @ 11am with a $100 budget for the season)

AJ Dillon has absolute beast potential. I hope they give him a solid work load this season.

You mean Quadzilla? Or is it the Quadfather? 🤣

Best case scenario for him is Jones gets hurt.. if so he's a solid RB1 IMO.

Crazy that the "little" guy on the right is better than the guy on the left.. Beast is an accurate description.

    absolutely.

the highlight of my athletic career was assisting on a tackle of him my freshmen year. things would not have gone well if that DL wasn't there to take the brunt of the impact.

Only one of you wasn’t sleeping on Browns pics.

I’m not sure how to take that.

It’s not always sleeping on players.. just what’s available and how you think it’s gonna pan out. That being said, I hope the browns are good this year.. I like a tough AFC North and the more teams to dethrone the Chiefs the better!

Yeah I’m not sure about that.. I think with Dobbins out Edwards is RB1.. kind of a tough decision.

I can honestly say I haven't looked forward to an NFL season as much as this since never.

Can't wait to see how it goes sideways.

I hope not, but I fear the Covid thing is going to play a big part again. Last year, players were quarantined more.

On the morning drive the debate on the sports talk radio was best fan bases in the NFL. They had a bracket of sorts and they whittled it down to the Bills and Browns.

I don’t disagree but I think their metric skewed heavily on the Fan Misery Index.

Yahoo gave me an A- grade for my draft. I'll have to see how it pans out.

Aim for the chopping block. If you aim for the wood, you will have nothing. Aim past the wood, aim through the wood.

    Or the Lake Erie water.

Maybe lousy weather fosters a good fan base? Perhaps Seattle should be in that mix too?

I jumped in the big lake this past weekend and felt its healing properties. First Energy Stadium was in view and the Thunderbirds flew overhead. All was right with the world.

But yeah, I think shitty weather and decades of losing is what makes a fan base great. Once Russell Wilson retires we'll welcome Seattle with open arms.

By week 14 the roster will likely have changed a lot. Substitute TE's that are on par or better than at least one of my current TE's will be easy to find.

Edit: For not caring about other people's fantasy draft, you seem to have given mine a fairly careful once over.

A FLEX position with QBs is really odd!

Bring on the season. The AFC is loaded and I'm looking forward to the Bills beating the snot out of most of them, assuming Covid Beasley doesn't bring the whole thing down.

I'm a savant. A quick glance at it shows some glaring issues that will manifest themselves as the season progresses.

Could you work that same wizardry on the Browns schedule? I’d like to know which weeks I can disregard in advance. Thanks,

Right now I've got the Browns at 13-4 with losses to the Chiefs and Packers, a split with the Birds, and a rest the starters loss to the Bengals because the Chiefs have AFC home field locked by Week 16.
