Lions actually looked good for a half last night. Which is more than what the last few years have given them.
I still call it The Jake.

Against what looked like a mediocre defense though. Rodgers may have to dial up 35+ points every game.

Packers D looked a lot better once they put Stokes on the outside instead of King. Maybe they will finally figure it out

In news that surprises nobody outside of the Miami front office, Tua is brittle AF.

Jarvis Landry out for at least 3 weeks.
So him and OBJ on the bench. That’s nice.I still call it The Jake.

I still contend that all Thursday night games are garbage.
Except for the one where Baker made his debut and opened all the beer fridges.
That one was epic.I still call it The Jake.

I fully expected Darnold to be this good in our offense. The Jets were and always will be completely incompetent. I guess Zach Wilson will have to endure a few brutal seasons before any potential can be realized.
I'm optimistic about CMC. They'd rule him out for any injury that required a trip to the blue tent; he is just too valuable throughout the course of a season to risk aggravating an injury in a week 3 game against a 3rd string QB.swing your fucking sword.

Sam Darnold is looking like Joe Montana.

I don’t know, Joe had a bit less of that cro-magnon man look to him.
Maybe time with the Jets really does affect a man.I still call it The Jake.

I'm giving the Panther's D an A-. Pretty damned good. Gonna miss McCaffrey. Panthers have a history of bringing people back too soon and ending careers basically. Olson, Newton for example.. If it were up to me I'd sit Christian down all season and save him for the playoffs unless this really was just a cramp..
Go that way really REALLY fast. If something gets in your way, TURN!

Gronk and TB look tired. Herbert and the Chargers are fun to watch. The jests and bares are not good football teams.

The Jets belong in the CFL. What an embarrassment of a franchise.

They let Adams back in after that hit?! I'd have called it a career after that.
