How much do you pay for pizza?
For the first time in a year I bought take out pizza. One pizza with sausage and peppers...$31 + a $4 tip. I was floored? What do you pay for a pizza at your local pizzeria?

The place I like is about $20-$25 for a pie. I'd say it's about a medium. I eat half and save the rest for later.

Where do you live? $40 is cheap for a large pizza round these parts and it is usually crap. They make banks off all the dumb and desperate tourists. We prefer to make our own, but by dough from the local Italian join usually.

He's in PC, of course it's expensive. I'll occasionally pay $25-30 for a large if its good. If it's a chain probably $25 delivered with wings or cheese bread.
My favorite place back home in Ohio is something like $25 for a large now, but I eat it every time I'm home because it can't quite be duplicated.

I pay $2 for pizza dough and a few cents for toppings. We bake them in our oven and that’s it.
I agree though. The price of pizzas has gone up like crazy.... maybe all the homemade pizzas are driving up the price?

How much do you pay for pizza?
Proletariat Pizza in White Center (West Seattle) is my go to delivery. 12” is like $17. 18” is like $25. ~$3 to deliver it. 10.1% tax plus tip... so we’re up to like $35 for an 18” za to the door...
Edit to add: Bunch of new Detroit style and Chicago style pizza joints have opened up in Seattle in the past 3 years..... most of them are fantastic

I've been making pizza at home since we moved here about 20 years ago. Local pizza is ok and costs $15-20, which isn't too bad.

Five bucks for the cheese or the pepperoni at little cesars! Six bucks for the pretzel crust with the highly inappropriate cheese sauce. Y'all overpaying...
