18" pies - $18 to $33, take away, from 3 local shops. Never did the comparison before, but the best (IMO) pies are the least expensive and from the only wood-fired oven in town.

You'll stand in line for an hour to pay that for a Pepe's white clam pizza in New Haven. Then you'll do it again, every time you're close enough...

Good pizza is about $25 canadian for a large. High quality and good size. About once every 6 weeks we order a couple and they last the fam a good couple of days.

It's $21 for a 16" pepperoni at the place up the street from where I am. But a place down the street charges $40 for a 24" pie, which I thought was a ripoff. But I just did the math and a 24" pie is more than twice as large as a 16" pie, and it costs less than twice as much, so apparently it's a bargain.

I'm taking this as a sign I need to do more research about personal pizza rankings again. It's been 3 years since I decided on my top 3 but with all the new good spots I probably need to restart from scratch.

$16 for medium and $22 for large at the local place. 3 toppings, coal fired. But this is Texas, so probably a bit cheaper than where you rich folks live.

How much do you pay for pizza?

For thick, Blue Pan's Parma is $32.
    For thin, Pizzeria Locale's Prosciutto + Arugula is $9.15 X 2 or 3.

    Both are A+ offerings

How much do you pay for pizza?

Currently paying about $20 for a large 1 topping pizza that would qualify as average in my book. So slightly overpaying.

Someone in another thread said we should add how much we’re willing to spend on a pizza. I think $25 is my limit for a large 1 topping, and it better be fucking good for that price. I’m sure we’ve all been somewhere that’s not home and been caught off guard by pizza prices, think the most I’ve ever accidentally spent was around $35. Fuck that

Prior to the pandemic, when we used to throw darts at a world map to see where we would take the G5 on a long weekend, a throw anywhere near Campania would necessitate a trip to Pepe in Grani for Franco Pepe's classic margherita. In addition to the 25 Euros for the pizza, if one were to factor in the travel and hotel costs, I would guess close to $35,000.

If you just send the empty jet and do carry out, does the math change that much?
