Shock may've rapped it, but Pac apparently wrote it...

Legend. Bummed I never got to see a DU show, heard they were off the hook. Beyond the over the top goofiness, Shock G was a musical genius, like the second coming of George Clinton the way he melded all the samples and sounds and characters, and touched on serious topics in between stuff like the Jerkit Circus and other ridiculous shit. Gonna be bumpin Sons of the P and Sex Packets and Body Hat Syndrome next few days.

Sex Packets - one of my first tapes and knew every damn word. My parents loved it I’m sure. Great cameo in Nothing But Trouble.

RIP - hope he’s getting busy in Heaven’s Burger King bathroom.

I had the tape too. My parents confiscated it when they found it! Must've been around freshman year in HS.

I can picture a 9 year old concretejungle bumping the shit out of this when I got home from school before my parents got home. I remember listening to it at my friends house and it's kind of unnerving how vividly I can picture it. Probably the first rap music I listened too.

    Just following "protocol".
For whatever reason folks always post celebrity obits/memorials in PR. Have never understood the practise myself, but just going with the (Oregano) Flow...doddie-doe-doe/doddie-she-doe!

Hell yeah, i had Sex Packets on tape too and it was one of the first hip hop records I bought.
Saw him touring with Murs in the 00's. He literally had 1 song and 1 verse so if I remember correctly he was on hype man / backing vocals duty.
    So young.

Listened to a few albums while out riding today, so many good lines, and so much truly hilarious shit. Somehow never knew until last night that Shock G was also Piano Man. Always loved that funky piano that was in a bunch of their songs.
