I need to go to Utah.
    Utah?
Yeah, Utah. It's wedged in between Wyoming and Nevada. You've seen pictures of it, right?

So after 15 years we finally made it to Utah.....

Thanks BCSAR and POWMOW Ski Patrol for rescues

I’m in the same boat as you, wish you could still order these from look.

Agreed, Pivots are already pretty flat. If you know a machinist, it might be possible mill off the bottom of the AFD plate, I'll look to see if it's possible next time I'm in a shop that has them. Plastic cuts like it's not even there.

Okay so I just got some new SPX 15s and they still use this AFD, so you must still be able to order it from look. Tech manual still says it’s the same item #, but in the catalog it is now called the race AFD.

Anyone want to ask their shop?

I found this to be a simpler solution, $5 sheet of 3mm ABS and scrounged up some slightly longer screws. Alpine AFD height=14mm, GW=17mm.

I find it interesting that the flatter delta of the GW AFD doesn't seem to bother me on wider skis (Cochise, LP 105), but I notice it right away on skinnier skis.

Interesting, good call. I will be looking in to that.

    ^ Nice.

Kinda dumb that look didn't just lower the GW AFD and keep the toe body at the same height as alpine DIN, so delta wouldn't change.

There are probably too many largely unimportant things in this world that make me inordinately angry, but this one is right up there.
