Wouldn’t all these bolt on accessories get stolen the second you stop in any US major city and have a meal or something? San Francisco Bay Area they’ll break windows for an iPhone cable.

Ok, I finally saw some rigs on the street with all the plastic shit attached to the outside. When did that become a thing? I have to admit I didn't calculate their scores because I was in disbelief at what I was seeing. Especially the guy who had all black. How does he know which condiment is in which container???

Really appears to have become a thing in the last 3-4 years. Social media has really fueled the growth with sedentary Millennial and Gen-Xer males feeling the need to display their masculinity, outdoors acumen and patriotism by covering their 4wd with chinese-made accessories.

I saw a guy last week with a expedition snorkel zip-tied to his A pillar, but not connected through the hood - just dangling off the side of his beater Tahoe.

Ours is a society whose individual’s personalities are now being defined solely by their consumer choices. Explosion of social media and limiting real life interaction and belonging has brought about the increase in posturing. People will buy stuff that they don’t need but might need. People will buy stuff that looks cool but will never understand it’s usefulness or it’s proper use.

a positive attitude will not solve all of your problems, but it may annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

I don't think that has ever even seen a gravel driveway.
Aim for the chopping block. If you aim for the wood, you will have nothing. Aim past the wood, aim through the wood.

Work in progress. Put the clunky steel bumper, winch, and beater Amazon led pods up front already as well as the oversized tires. Gonna try and find some plastic stuff to strap to various places and maybe a shovel or pulaski or whatever too. Oh, and like a dozen more light pods all over the damned place. I kinda fancy it being like a Christmas tree. You gotta put some lights and tinsel and shit on there, ya know?

I would go drool all over it if I saw it in person. Just a rolling exhibit of 70s decor which I strangely enjoy.

Here you go. $185k is solidly in the outrageous category.

Wow, I thought Winnebagos were sort of a working man's RV. I guess not anymore.
