Those M2s are great little trucks; that behemoth trailer might be impossible to camp anywhere but the Walmart parking lot but I bet it drives nice.

New Bronco, not so great at GOTOS on Black Bear Pass. I assume the traction boards and RTT flew off upon impact at some point.

    ^^ Now that's a setup I could see living in/with.

Can't see the plates, feels like it should be Louisiana.

And is that a crane sticking up from the back of the pickup? Easier loading for the kayaks, full yetis, etc??

Leaving the local trail head and the prime van was stuck. This guy really wished his van was GOTOS worthy. Surely there’s traction boards inside there

How does one tell that's a bronco? Could be a fuckin Kia soul for as much of it is intact!!

And also, holy shit did that fall off the edge and roll down a few switchbacks?

Here's one from last year. With REALLY INTENSE MUSIC.

Black Bear's gnarly because of the exposure. It's not the most difficult drive in the state (or San Juan/San Miguel counties for that matter), but it's got very high consequences.

Yeah, Black Bear itself isn't that bad, but it is one way, downhill, and narrow. Worst part would be the Austin Powers turns on each switchback. Not sure what caused the Bronco in that pic to roll, but hope the folks that were in it made it out OK. Edit: article below says they were going the wrong direction (up) and decided to turn around, time went too high on the embankment, and the vehicle rolled, ejecting the driver and a dog.

We rode BB on motorcycles last week and it is pretty easy on those, just one section that has some rockiness and big exposure. We also saw a Taco that had rolled off on Engineer pass last weekend. It was all GOTOSed out but I didn't snap a pic.

News said they were from out of state and were driving up (wrong way). They tried to turn around and rolled it. The driver and a dog were ejected.

Perhaps I misread the article but I think the engine was even ejected during the crash. Must have been quite a tumble. I wonder if getting ejected was actually what saved the driver and her dog.

Spotted this beauty on the drive to work this AM. Looks like some accessories were left behind on the side panels (only one gas can?? bruh please...) but I was impressed with the 4 different roof units. Also, stickers for days, and there's gotta be a bonus for hauling a propane tank in the bed.

GOTOS on Gladiator... for when a $65k vehicle is just too cheap, you can kit it out with another $15k in overlanding gear!

Should get bonus points for being over payload even if the bed is totally empty.

If overland bro ever gets it off pavement he'll be a bit surprised how that topper cracks up like a hard boiled egg.

That's what's hilarious. Saw a video discussing this topic, using a Taco as an example. They had an empty GOTOS'd one and put it on the scales. Far exceeded the GVWR. Then they pointed out how you add the weight of humans, fuel, gear, and that suspension is pretty much fukt. You can totally beef things up to handle it all, but most these posers don't even comprehend the issue. Hence all the examples we see in the thread. Haha
