GOTOS doesn't really capture it. You have dirtbaggers and you have overlanders. Two very different creatures.

You can easily pick out the dirtbaggers around here - usually lifted Tacos from the late 90s/early 2000s, huge tires, dented, covered in mud, homemade steel bumper, horrible sounding exhaust and several mildly offensive bumper stickers. I teach at the local high school and there are prob 10 trucks like this blasting around the student lot.

Same here. Most of the shiny, mildly "gorped" and/or lifted 4runners in my town are driven by women as de facto station wagons. Hell, my wife has wanted one for years now.
There should be negative points for this game too. Dents from rollovers, cracked windshields, parts that were fab'd in someone's garage, etc.

I got a kick out of the late 80s/early 90s dirttbag rigs. Lots of pre-taco Yotas. The ubiquitous two door 4-Runner. And jacked up Jeep Cherokees with the black roof basket. Until they all rusted out. They all had GOTOS, were dented to shit, covered with mud, and none of them sat straight or level in the driveway. I wanted one.

That’s it...it’s time to play G.O.T.O.S.
Saw an early 90s Range Rover, lifted, roof rack, fly rod tubes. But the pièce de résistance was the red “fire” shovel topped off with an orange shovel sheath.
Sometimes you gotta put out some forest fires, with just a shovel, on your way to the secret fishing hole.

I mean, if I was going to have one tool to get myself unstuck, a shovel would probably be it. I've dug my vehicles' frame rails (are they even called that on unibody vehicles) with my hands a few times after sinking a bit in really loose stuff in order to gain some clearance and be able to wedge the floor mats under the tires. I'd have loved to have had a shovel.

Yeah I'd bet most people would get more use out of a shovel than traction boards or hi-lift jack. I've had to shovel out both sand and snow to get unstuck.
And more importantly, you can dig a hole to bury your poop. Given what a literal shit show most campsites are now, I wish everyone would carry a shovel.

Everyone knows rental cars can go anywhere, so that's really the ultimate vehicle right there.

I really enjoy this. I don't know about the point total but I suggest a bonus for multiple layers of irony. You could carry them inside easier, spend less money on the dumb rack, get better gas mileage, and keep the tools from rusting while having a lower center of gravity but you'd rather show off that you own a shovel.
