Holeefuck. Never seen a hood protected so well. That dude is ready for a tree to fall across the beam. Hope it had matching bulletproof shields on the doors.

    That’s it...it’s time to play G.O.T.O.S.

Insane! Russ needs to take it down to Dragonman’s and mount some M2s on the roof.

If I was the most sacked QB in the NFL I might wanna climb in to something like that at the end of the day too.

Fucking donkeys. Any fan should be feeling deep shame right now but then again if they did they wouldn't be donkey fans.

I was passed on eastbound 70 by a rig with GOTOS score around 15. Interestingly it looked like there was dirt on the shovel. I’m guessing the dirt clods were fake, and held on the shovel by magnets.

I found a standout specimen yesterday evening. Typical markings of traction plates, gun cases, farm jack, fancy bumpers with built in winch up front, lifted with chunky tires on black rims, extra lights, ketchup jug, shovel.

But the Christmas lights make it exceptional in my opinion.

They hacked off the bed for rock slider clearance, and the dents show it actually gets used as intended. I'd give that one a pass.

I wonder if the light bar on the roof rack was installed before or after denting up the tailgate...

I’m thinking he bought the roof box with stickers already on.

Guessing game time! How far over payload is that Tacoma?

    I'm going with 500# over.

I was thinking it might be a salt water fisherman who needed the lift and fat meats for driving on the Jersey Shore but the stickers all suggest a fly fisherman so credibility is deeply in question.

This thing is an outdoor bro’s ideal overlanding rig, and vehicles like it have become distressingly popular on the Front Range. You know the species. It starts with a pickup, most often a Tacoma but often something even bigger, like Russ’s Ram. Add a lift kit, oversized tires with meaty tread, and an obligatory bed-rack system with a rooftop tent. Finally, accessorize with 37 pieces of flair: light bars, skid plates, traction boards, spare gas cans, and one of those burly bullbars, which are more useful for inflicting damage on whatever they hit than protecting the vehicles they’re on.
Damn shame, throwing away a perfectly good white boy like that

nevermind, i was reading his tweet as the truck was 11yo...he was referring to his 11yr career as having a new car smell
