While this might be a contender for King GOTOS, Summer has yet to start.

Maybe we’ll make a GOTOS Hall of Fame thread.

Take a lap with your mansplaining, jong.

I think it's obvious this thread went from making fun of the fake new-school overlanders/vanlifers with too much money to burn to just posting anything to get more points. I am guilty of strapping shit on my disco back in the day but at least I actually wheeled the damned thing, camped in some amazing places. I give that cruiser props for keeping it real, just so happens we've come full circle and what used to be things out of necessity and safety are now just baubles and fodder for the 'gram.

That’s just the thing, there’s very few examples of overzealous overlanders in this thread, and far less humor in it. Bad dancer might have just won though.

Keep faking the high road. Bring a good winch so you can pull yourself out of any holes you drive into.

Maybe. But it seems like there are much better choices for that.

My truck is stock and 45 years old. My other vehicle is stock and 24 years old. It’s nice that you find me attractive but I don’t care for moronic Sallies.

Guilty as charged, I suppose I am explaining obvious shit. But all this GOTOS is super confusing for most people, like WTF is all that shit for and where do those people go? I’m still learning what I need and don’t need on my vehicle, I’m a noob with a new-to-me heavy old van that has very little storage inside after 2 kids a wife and a big dog goes in it.

What is this trailer anyway, slide-out kitchen?
Maybe that's what the large propane tank is for
Otherwise he also has a grill tucked away somewhere
    Matching Hi Lift
    Brown bag on spare
    Awning
    Gas can
    Fake yeti
    shovel
Other stuff I can't make out on the roof rack (aluminum) & whatever's in black bag
    F & R bumpers
    sliders
    "MOAB" badge

eta and he did the hood black-out.

Not his first trip to Moab obvs but he went to school in TX and also skied Mammoth at least once.
    Wtf
That trailer is three feet long.
    Crazy. What’s the point?
