Im not sure if I should post here or the ski RV thread. But I have a feeling the buyer will get a lot of GOTOS points. Pretty interesting camper too.

Well yeah. If the motors don’t short out fording that river, you still need cabin fresh air.

    I’m thinking of registering www.TeslaSnorkle.com

I haven't seen a more perfectly laid out GOTOS vehicle anywhere. All topped with a $5k European tent. Sure you kind find examples with more clutter, but this is peak GOTOS.

Also this guy wasn't camping, he was staying in a Moab hotel, I saw him come and go a couple times from there. We've all taken a break from camping to stay at a hotel even with a nice RV, but I doubt this guy has used his tent much.

Utility beds are awesome. Weirdly, he bought a truck that actually fits stuff inside, without having to tie it all over the Top Or Outside. All that exposed GOTOS stuff should be in the utility bed...

Yes, however, then nobody could see all his gear.

He also bought a truck that would make a great platform for a sweet truck camper.

Being back in Bozeman they are everywhere.

Lately I've been thinking you know you have disposable income when there are tons of jdm right hand drive "I'm unique, retro, and cool" mini 4x4 vans around.

W all the lifted bro dozers around they also look like a death trap

That traction bar would not last long wheeling in Moab.

I have that same truck (in mostly stock form) - turn radius is around 60'. It's the worst part of driving it.

With all the money spent on it, it's possible they shortened the turning radius too. My E350 is modified that way before i bought it.

    Great point.
Looks like it handles smooth dirt roads really well.

This is kind of cool. It’s not doing any overlanding in downtown White Plains. Of course it might have done some off-roading someplace between here and California.

I haven’t paid much attention to that jdm 4x4 van market lately, but for years that was the ‘I don’t have much money & don’t mind a death trap that struggles to hit 65 mph on a long grade’ demographic.

Since your post intrigued me a bit, I looked at price history on BAT and Yup for years those sold for ten grand. Covid hit and they went into the 15-20 k range. Still, not bad.
Know of a pair of Fischer Ranger 107Ti 189s (new or used) for sale? PM me.

RWD vans with lots of weight in the back and decent tires are not hard to drive in shit snow conditions. Or does CO require 4wd on many roads?

The 2WD sprinter does well in the snow with appropriate tires. You just can't go very fast.
