So 2-3 of these types of super small gas cans on your roof I think is a necessity:

A super small cooler is a good idea too

Razor scooter. One of those fan/spray bottles they sell at Disney for personal swamp cooling in the oppressive heat.

Yeah, I have a pink princess castle that rolls up and has a pink bag. That'll work nicely too. Maybe a big "Overland Lyfe" sticker. Then I can drive around and start parking next to all the gotos rigs and take pics. Should be fun.

Maybe some hot wheels track straightaway pieces mounted vertically along the back. Cause they are orange.

I have a little kids portable toilet too, hehe.

The CRV's probably actually pretty fun. Decent tires, a little lift, awd, why not? I'd cruise Forest Service roads in that. They could lose the bull bar.

    That’s it...it’s time to play G.O.T.O.S.

    Doesn’t Toyota make a RAV4 TRD now?

^ sounds familiar. Subie has the wilderness editions coming out for the outback and forester...Not a bad thing. Probably driven by the overland trend.

Yes. Compared to the other RAV4 models, it has a tiny bit more ground clearance, different trim and styling, nicer AWD system, but IIRC no hybrid available in that version. And costs nearly $40K.

    Yup, my wife has one.
I like to imagine her rolling up next to a GOTOS truck at a stop light and casually looking over and saying “Yo! Do you even off-road?” and flooring it when the light turns green. That would never happen though.

FYI the ‘21s added front and rear skid plates.

Wish my phone camera wasnt shit. Saw prob 30 good ones in one parking lot in Bozeman. Including a pristine Raptor with every color rotopax, awning, rooftop tent, and the "cleanest" brand new bright red shovel. There may have even been plastic on the shovel.

*says the guy whose wifes runner would score pretty high....

If you win it and want to avoid looking like a poser, I'd be happy to put some miles and scuffs on it for a very reasonable fee.

So getting back to that earth cruiser and hi-lifts, it seems like it'd take a hi-lift to put the spare tire in place. That thing is WAY up there.

Also, anybody else use a hi-lift for things like pulling t-stakes?

Lol yup. Here's the Harbor Freight cheapy I have: https://www.harborfreight.com/mercha...jack-6530.html
I bought it for pulling up old bushes and small tree stumps I had all over my formerly neglected yard. Works like a champ for that duty. Never have used it for a vehicle, although I'd wager it's still gotten a lot more use than any of the shiny ones you see strapped to the outside of these city-slickers' vehicles.
