I kind of like those Capri campers. I’ve looked for a used on for my truck.

There is good natured ribbing and then there is straight up hate. This thread is more fun when it's good natured.
Pouring sugar in a gas tank because someone likes a certain car...holy smokes. And really, if you're going to pick on a vehicle, at least know your target. That truck is a diesel and therefore has a fuel cap. Not gas. I bet there's a generator in that trailer and he's carrying the fuel outside for it so everything doesn't smell like gas.

fun game. how many points do I get? I'm thinking 10'ish. It's for sale if anyone wants to score some of their own G.O.T.O.S. points.
mostly use it for getting to the mall and grocery store.Last edited by dfinn; 05-11-2021 at 12:53 PM.

The way to defuse douchebaggery in a thread devoted to lightky mocking conspicuous consumption isn’t to blame jealousy.

Could a pic of a vehicle loaded with tens of thousands of dollars worth of mountain bikes headed across the country to shred the likes of 18 road be considered just as worth of mockery as these rigs?
Inquiring minds want to know.

@CS No, man, zero for dfinn. He only has stuff that he needs and is actually using it for what it was intended.
I mean, that's real winning. But not thread winning.

I was replying to core shot.
dfinn's rig/setup looks perfect. But it's my understanding that this thread is poking fun at people who've made it their mission to amass as much stuff as they can carry on the outside of their vehicles - yet never use.
Maybe I got that wrong? but it's a silly thread anyway.

Confirmed: dfinn gets 0 points.
Vehicle is being used as intended, potentially even gaining negative points.

Are we posting pictures of our own junk shows now?
Side note: I’m curious about the swing arm high up bicycle tray system in dfinn’s photo

I did just because this seems like a pretty ridiculous thread on a few levels and I'm fine with people poking fun at me. I don't personally give a shit what people do with their money or their truck. If they build it up and then never do anything with it that's totally cool with me, less contention for rad camp spots.
I honestly have no clue where to start with an asking price and I'm not in a huge rush to sell yet but I'm thinking of starting around 15k. It's a 2000, about 225k miles, well built with all the good stuff, there is some rust issues though. Pretty much as pictured, without the fridge. The list of shit I've done and upgrades is crazy long and I've got receipts for everything, about an inch thick. Lots of maintenance too. Anyone think that price is way off (hopefully too low)?
The rear bumper swing out is from Dissent. It was not cheap but it's one of the best for the 100 series and I think it might be the only one with a hitch on the swing out, having the bikes out of the way was a game changer. There's a 1up rack then mounted to the swing out.
