It is. Question is what is the propane for? Cooking hot dogs at a Broncos game?

Is that second tank, the black one, an FEX?

Imagine; your engine is on fire, you have to climb up to the roof by standing on the front wheel, right next to said engine on fire, and unstrap the FEX, that’s right next to your propane tank….

I think it’s an air tank. Bc a compressor isn’t gotos enough.

Yeah it's a brand called Powertank. They were/are popular in the offroad world. Strong enough to re-seat a bead but re-filling the co2 and initial cost ain't cheap. People build cheaper versions on their own but that's not in the spirit of the GOTOS.

Also saw a some bougie rental RV from Bozeman that had dual yetis, traction boards, storage locker etc hanging of the back. Wish I could've gotten a pic.

I love the pristine red fire shovels. Where do buy these things, Overland Etsy? This one doesn't even have a prophylactic covering the spikes.

One must be prepared when traversing the Whole Foods parking lot.

    Hazards abound!

Ms CE lived in Africa for about 15 years and traversed the Sahara more than once (hitchhiking one time) and tells tales of multiple flats and roadside repairs. The guy above is just ready for some of that kind of action.

I lived at the north end of Vancouver island for a summer. The rock used in the roadbeds up there was really sharp so it wasn't uncommon to see tourists with two or sometimes three flats at once. The tire shop in town was kept very busy all summer. This was before gotos, so the local towing company was also busy.

Can’t believe nobody saw it, the propane air compressor combo on the 4runner is obviously a roof mounted flame thrower for fighting zombies and clearing the way through the REI parking lot.

I didn't have time to stop and photograph it, but will try to capture it if I see it again -

Yesterday in my neighborhood was a GOTOS loaded 4Runner with the personalized plates "MTN TRD."

    Couldn't be more fitting...

There's a RAV4 at my girlfriend's workplace with the license plate MTN RAV. I'll get a picture.

Denver is def a gotos hub but this one's in my top 5. We parked near each other and I could hear that it has an old v8 conversion. There was shit strapped to every flat surface which is saying something considering the old skool 40 series design.

Missed out on this thread for over a year because I had no idea what gotos was, thought it was maybe some online video game or some dungeons and dragons nerd type shit, really I had no idea wtf it was and it took a reference in the overlanding thread for me to check it out. Lot of catching up to do. Whenever I see these things, I like to point and say "outdoorsy!" for anyone in the vicinity to hear.

Appears to be a hand crank to unleash the tent from the ground.
