A question for all of the GOTOS experts. What is in the box on this roof? I see these with some frequency and it looks a lot like my gun case. Why would you carry a gun on the roof when you could put it in the bed? And if you’re gonna put your gun in the roof, why not the ammo case as well?

Would love to see how long all these exterior accessories would last in a place like South Chicago. It'd be like when Clark Griswold got lost in the hood.

Don’t overthink it. It is a rifle case someone drilled holes in order to store less shit, have more sun fade, and attract more attention than your standard Yak or Thule rocket box. This has been covered.

Buns go in the box, duh! Burgers in the fridge, then the condiment containers. Follow and you'll get a meal.

OK. Forgive my ignorance.. what's the red sled on the side window? Ramp for when the truck gets stuck? If that means there is another one on the opposite side I'd think that's worth extra points

Just when I’ve noticed a dearth of GORP in my hood lately. Maybe due to fire danger around here…

The bike rack and yak saddles are fine by me - unless stuff been sitting on the racks for days without moving.

It’s the trax plates, lights around the front rack and whatever that brown thing is on the top that’s a bit much for a vehicle that clean

    Yarp.

I should just sit on this corner with a beer Friday and Sunday evenings and really rack up the points.

I'm on Silverton now. Holy hell, there is a ton of shit strapped to pretty much every vehicle. Given location I shouldnt get any points, but maybe for all the vehicles with roof top tents parked at the local motels? Guess these guys can't handle a bit of rain ...
