My phone was dead but I had a Sprinter that scored 11 or 12 today. It inspired me to finally put my Bomb Snow sticker on my pickup.

    That’s it...it’s time to play G.O.T.O.S.

I saw what appeared to be a Camel branded 80’s Range Rover while on a run...not sure if a restomod or vintage...wood shovel & hi-lift attached
Can maybe get a photo next time I’m in that area

Sorry, if it's a Sprinter, Transit, etc you just have a 'van'. Or a 'storyteller van'.

But you do get +2 bonus points for calling your van a 'rig'.

Haha. I have a sticker that says "One Less Sprinter" to put on my truck.

Reminds me of the "One Less Car" stickers people in Vancouver used to put on their commuter bikes. I got one of those and put it on my truck.

    All in good fun.

Some Arches NP action, technically zero points since it's not in a town but classic examples of GOTOS.

You should have hand written that as a note and stuck it under the windshield wiper. LOL

Seriously though, is there a checklist these people all follow? They all have the same shit strapped to their vehicles.

Bonus points yesterday to the two jeeps I saw with a pristine hi-lift jack mounted to the hood on one, and front quarter panel ahead of the driver's door on the other (sorry no pic). Gotta keep that seldom used item easily accessible!

Especially in a location where it threatens your life if it becomes unfastened or you are in an accident.

The points system should be updated to add at least 2 points for a photo with said note.

You post as if you’ve never been regarded as a hero for dodging a 40 pound steel missile when you survived a fender bender leaving a Walmart parking lot.

Those are some pretty nice rigs, but they’re probably already approaching GVWR and that’s why Clementine had to stay home.

Adding a few steel bumpers, winch, RTT, cargo boxes, awning, hi lift, full gas cans, and you are already hovering around the max payload before your fat ass wife and offspring slither their way into the vehicle.

It astounds me how many people have a hi-lift and it's obvious they've never even used it. They can seriously fuck you up if you don't use it properly. Same goes for a winch. (I was trained by Bill Burke of Camel Trophy fame back in the day when I did a lot of wheeling and led trails for a 4x4 club, like almost 20 years ago). Crazy how everything has come full-circle.

A coworker has a hi-lift, bumpers etc. on her jeep, pretty sure it all came from the previous owner...She always talks about wheeling as one of her hobbies. That cracks everyone else up b/c we drive a lot for work and we've all noticed that she's particularly bad at driving herself.
