I'd prefer my bespoke interior to at least have a damn window. Maybe the entire ceiling is a skylight.

Opposite here. I hope the entire ceiling is mirrors. How many gotos points would that be?

None for that. You'd need mosquito netting, maybe a hammock or two, slack line...

Ya know, ever time I get tempted by some 4x4 box truck freightliner like this, I think about how much it sucks driving a big ol penske van on a long haul move. If I'm going to live in my vehicle, it needs to not be a single cab bench seat with the fucking steering wheel in my lap, and vinyl everything with a 55mph governor on it.

Pamper me. They had this shit figured out in the 60s, you tow a big ass camper with a Cadillac, and you enjoy the drive.

He’s actually in his 60s and owns a big gold mine. But it was built in Arizona by an operation that mainly does millennial builds. I think he’s doing his own interior work.

Well it's good they got a trailer so they can bring more stuff.

Too bad George Carlin isn't around to riff on these things.

We had one of these for sale near us for a while. Tires were obviously smaller, but same setup. They had a Yacht painted on the side. It was so sweet, but way too rough inside to be worth the effort. The Land Yacht painting was an eye catcher though.

Then I remember that he is an inspector and it all makes sense.

Sometimes the "cool" thing is to think nothing is cool. Pretty sure that millennial ironic bullshit is passe now, but G Master Flex seems to have latched onto it for good. I am picturing a very long beard and lots of flannel.

I would love to own one of these things and leave it packed up ready for adventure at the drop of a hat. That excludes the reality of kids, but hey- I'm a dreamer. I think the only reason I would look down on an owner of one of these would be because they didn't know how to fix it, or they didn't design it themselves. I would want to do the interior myself and make it my own. I guess it would be the equivalent of Bought It vs Built It in the Jeep/ Bronco/ Scout II/ K5 world. If you just got it to make good Insta photos, I really don't know how I would respond. I would probably want to throat punch them, steal the keys, and make it cool.

My friends just picked up this Mitsubishi van in Seattle off the boat from Japan and are very excited. This is a huge improvement over their old VW Synchro. It starts predictably and can go > 40 mph on the mountain passes.

Only 3 points based on the current scoring criteria, but the detailed vehicle description on both the side and the back of the van is hilarious, even if not point worthy.

What is driver’s column on the right worth?

There’s a few Delicas in my hood, one is a Chamonix. They are dope, but overland they are not, even w/ a RTT.

    KIA is killing it lately.

An idea long past due- A well appointed mini van that doesn't totally look like a mini van.
    https://www.kia.com/us/en/carnival-m...04213832&CRD=0

Name it the Carnival (cause your circus travels inside it), and win.

290 Hp, but only available in FWD? That seems like a big mistake. AWD could make this thing a pretty nice camper candidate too.

I wonder whose truck that is?

As far as KIA, they're very well-reviewed but I don't want a car whose name is an acronym for "Killed In Action".

My buddy just ordered a pop up cab over camper and he told me he is getting the pick axe.

Why does he not earn points for a fucking mounted pick axe?
