Looks like all that shit is compressing the rear suspension pretty good. The faucet on the bumper is a new one.

Lol, yup! Hilarious thing is that most of these GOTOS who just hit up their off-roading catalogs and just tack on all the stuff are usually WAAAAAY exceeding their vehicle's max GVWR. Gotta beef up your suspension if you wanna play the GOTOS game. Haha.

There are lights on the back of the roof rack as well
I especially like the driver RV mirror

TL;DR - buy a car for $500, rally it for 500 miles off road, pick up trash on public lands

Wow, the more you look at it the more shit you see. Go pro mount and "Overland" decal on the front fender. Fold down foot steps on every door. Ooh. Another go pro mount on the front of the RTT. Spigot on the mounted water can actually makes a lot of sense...so you can actually use it easily. What's the other spigot for down on the rear bumper? Partial window molle panels on the back.

Are those stock bumpers and running boards? They don't look like steel which means the hi lift is going to be pretty useless.

Where do you even overland on the east coast?

There was a one ton Toyota pickup, same body as the truck you mention. I’m not saying it was powerful.

But seeing as that impressive display of GOTOS is from CT, they probably just drive it to the top of the Okemo auto road. Then they park it in the most conspicuous location possible in front of their slopeside house.

Eastern OR is pretty remote but I can’t think of anywhere that you would need an extra 16 gallons if you ran out of gas. Maybe their fuel economy is so bad because of all the weight they’re carrying?

That’s like $1280 worth of rotopax, attachments and extensions

It would make some sense if the bed were full of dirt bikes, but loading dirt bikes under that frame doesn't sound like fun.

Usually a tank somewhere. I’ve seen them that fit in the floor space when the back seats are removed or underneath where the spare was before it went on the back. At least for 4runners. Bonus points for adding a heating loop from the engine to the tank for a nice hot shower.

And for all the multiple gas can haters, when TEOTWAWKI hits and we’re all sitting there with a quarter tank of gas, the GOTOS crew will be laughing all the way to their bug out bunkers in the hills.

So many layers to peel back on this build. All sorts of stuff tucked in there. Impressive in a way.

Overland the east coast? Well around here you go to the Home Depot of course

@ F_the_NEK: Not sure the thing has conquered the climb to Okemo just yet, those toys tacked on the back are lacking the required rust from trips north in the winter. Maybe he has plans for an attempt this winter. Check Insta for updates?

And guy needs to get a decent bike rack
