That’s it...it’s time to play G.O.T.O.S.
Our 4runner next to 1 of the dozens of these beasts you’ll see roaming the Alaska highway.
They almost all have European plates.
Must cost a fortune to ship these over let alone gas them up for long distance driving needed to get around. I can’t imagine they’re that comfortable to ride in for long periods of time. And it seems like total overkill for 99.99% of roads. But should a zombie apocalypse happen…

I've seen them rolling though Bellingham (same euro plates), and the max height for the ferry is 13' so anything taller could've driven all the way through BC and Yukon to get there. That's a lotta fuel.

I can't count high enough to sort all the points on this specimen, but I think it wins this thread. Spied in the parking lot of the Summit Sierra mall (where else?) in Reno, NV. To start with, please note the douchebag parking job, carefully taking up four parking spaces, to make sure nobody parks too close. Wouldn't want to get any of those rugged armor thingamajigs scratched.
I'd also like to point out that both of the LED light bars above the windshield (yes, two of them) have covers, for the ultra rugged overlanding at the mall. Also, the condiment carrier features a Harley Davidson plaque, because of course it does.
The driver is ready to jack you off at either end, what with the floor jack on the rear bumper and the hi-lift on the passenger front fender (with an American flag flying out of the jack).
Finally, please take note of these two features, which IMHO are the creme de la creme of the entire compensatormobile: (1) visible through the rear wheel well opening is a fifth wheel mount for towing - but there's no way a fifth wheel could attach to this truck, over the giant spare tire, selection of condiments, bed rack, tonneau cover, etc, etc); and, (2) the front bumper has a roller fairlead for a winch, but there's no cable or hook/shackle visible - hence, no winch in there.

Wow. So gross it has beauty. The flag is even juxtapositioned with the rainbow condiments.
Anyone else feel this is evolution to the aforementioned euro earthroamers in real-time action?

What is going on with that prodigiously pendulous hitch shackle?
