When I add albums to my Sonos, it’s kinda redundant since most is on my Amazon already.

As someone who didn't really know the Stones until they were on their late middle age tours, I've been heavily influenced by the greatest hits albums/airplay. I should at some point listen to the actual albums.

But there are so many more great ones- and a bunch of great albums. I tried to sneak a Keith song on my list but wouldn't be fair. I hope to see them again someday.

I've said it before, I'll say it again, I've never really understood why people like the Stones so much. Sure, they are talented. They're just not my thing. I find a lot of it grating.

To each his own.
Been listening to Little Stevens Underground Garage a lot lately on XM, they play a lot of early 60s Stones and are worth the listen.I have been in this State for 30 years and I am willing to admit that I am part of the problem.

Jumpin' Jack Flash (the only Stones song our band did)
Gimme Shelter--because Merry Clayton (and Lisa Fischer). The greatest back up singing in r and r history.
Honky Tonk Women--the original--because the guitar part is fun to play.Last edited by old goat; 04-05-2021 at 11:09 AM.
