More companies need front facing vents. I have an OR White room and the front facing pit zips is my favorite feature. Allows for easy adjustment of venting.

Those Norrona wrist gaiters are a decade+ old so hardly innovative.

fair enough - I’m no expert. I had them on a jacket I bought in 2015 (that got run over by an airplane and replaced with this current one) - people hate on norrona because it’s a trendy brand with bright color choices but they do appear to be trying to innovate from a design standpoint - sometimes for fashion and sometimes for function

I have the same Norrona jacket. The gaiters may be decades old tech but you know what? They're the first ones I've had that don't bunch up around my thumbs, wrists and fit in the glove without discomfort. See the pockets? You can get a cell phone from this decade in them. I'm a dead bird fanboi but don't use any of their gear on the hill anymore.

I have a Norrona jacket and I’m not really a fan of the wrist gaters.
I just don’t get a lot of snow up my sleeves, but I usually wear gauntlets.

Seriously? That's fucked. First they screw around with the beta ar pants by removing the full side zip, and now no bibs? Maybe they'll keep some proper SV shell bibs with their guide/patrol line.

fkna. what a mistake that would be if they actually discontinue the alpha and beta sv bibs. i love my beta svs. perfect fit.

    Wait.
You said no to a custom merino wool Patagonia shortsleeve?

    I guess you’re not a fashion trendsetter.
