Unbelievably sad. Wish I had gotten a chance to ski with him.
He was a legend.
What a way for someone like him to go down.
Thoughts and prayers to all involved.

Jesus that's terrible. I used to see him at Portillo. Cool, friendly guy. I think he walked away from a heli crash there where others died. Very sad.

+vibes+ for all five.
Good job on the save and recovery Jeff + Jesse.
Sleep well on that...Time spent skiing cannot be deducted from one's life.

I’m on a flight back to AK right now. Lady next to me lost her son in law in the crash.
But Ellen kicks ass - if she had a beard it would be much more haggard. -Jer

I skied with Greg and Sean a couple years back. Both larger than life. So tragic, especially Greg leaving a baby behind.

Harms was a total badass, on and off skis. Larger than life. My thoughts go out to the TML family, it’s a pretty tight group and this will hit them hard. Condolences to family and friends of all those who died in this crash, let’s hope the survivor is ok.

Thinking of the 3rd edge and TML families today, both groups are world class at what they do and real close to each other.
Three fundamentals of every extreme skier, total disregard for personal saftey, amphetamines, and lots and lots of malt liquor......-jack handy

I literally just got back yesterday from heli skiing in AK. On the way there we were on the same flight from SEA > ANC as several of the people heading to Tordrillo. Sobering news. Vibes to those who knew him.
I ski 135 degree chutes switch to the road.

"Among the victims was Petr Kellner, 56, who was the Czech Republic’s richest person and one of the 70 richest people in the world last year, according to Forbes."

Don’t know what to say. He was my guide at CPG first time I ever went heli in 2006 and we became friends after that. Put me on my first of would become many pairs of Moments. Skied with him from time to time, always brought the stoke and made skiing fun for everyone around. Was so happy for him with the new baby. This hits pretty hard to the gut.

Just read that Sean was also in that crash. Was fortunate to ski and hang with him up in AK. Good dude. RIP.

The guide crowd is like one big happy family here in small town Girdwood. I am kind of on the periphery while a couple of my friends were best buds with those guys... Pretty devastating all around.
