Sarner Skis? Never heard of em

Saw this on a local FB listing. Caught my eye cause I had never heard of the brand before. They look to be mid to late 70's, but for some reason look "fat" for the era? Maybe its just the picture? Seems in the late 70's a binding like those would overhand the ski edge or be closer to it?

Think it's an old italian ski brand. They appear to still exist. I don't think they made a fat ski from what I can tell, but it does look like it offered some 'twin tips'

I didnt see a fat ski offering either, but those looked (in pic) fatter than the average of the day.

A little fat and a very similar tip and tail shape to todays 5 point sidecut designs. Probably a cult powder ski for like 5 skiers.

There was a hippie telemarker in PC around 82 who ripped on a pair of Sarners but I think they were yellow. I assumed he skied on them as a dumpster dive, but maybe he knew more.

    Agreed.
Couple of asymmetric skis there as well.
