    192 Veneer Praxis Protests Pristine!!

I really hate to do this. I was the one who originally petitioned Keith to make the 192cm size of the Protest. This is my third protest I've owned (Pair 1: 188cm OG Camo, Pair 2 : 192cm Enduro/Carbon/Veneer/4 Flex, Pair 3: 192 Enduro/Veneer/3+ Flex). I prefer these the best out of the 3. Perfect flex, length, and layup.

These are enduro core, birds eye maple veneer, 3+ flex. After having skied pretty much every combination of praxis layups available (UL, Enduro, Heavy Hitter, Carbon, Veneer, Nylon topsheet) - I think Enduro + Veneer is my favorite layup for a powder ski. Lightweight, but the veneer adds both dampness and a bit of extra pop to the ski.

Only reason I'm selling is I'm building a camper van conversion to live and travel in, and I do not have room for all my skis, and I will be further away from mountains most of the time in CA than I am right now in Denver. Caught the touring bug too this year, so planning on focusing on that moving forward for the most part, so I think I'd rather see these loved by someone else than sit in a storage closet. Van builds are also expensive (or at least the way I'm building mine haha) so could use some funds.

I've only had 4 days out on these skis. Last day was this weekend, and they are as glorious as their reputation proclaims. Fast, effortless at any speeds, any turn shape, you all know the drill.

Skis are pretty pristine. Topsheets only have a few tiny cosmetic surface level scratches on the tails. Bases are excellent, few very very minor scuffs. Edges the same. Just gave a quick tune today. Bases are perfectly flat.

They've been mounted once for Tyrolia Attack 16 bindings. I do not want to separate them. The good news is they are mounted to fit 25.5-28.5 boots, without a remount.

Currently a 307mm (26.5) boot would be at -1.75cm from center. I had demo bindings on my prior protests, and tried multiple boot center locations, and found that they have a big sweet spot from about -1 to -2.5cm, so these should be good to go for pretty much anyone.

I'm asking $675 with bindings. Free Denver pickup, or buyer pays shipping. Pretty firm on the price, I am in no rush to sell and wouldn't shed a tear if I ended up keeping these for next season. An identical pair would cost $800+ shipping without bindings in the Spring Custom 50% off Sale.

Theoretically could be interested in trades if anyone has some good tools, equipment, or possibly services I could put into the van build.

Curious to what the quiver you decided to keep with you on the road?

Quiver still TBD. Touring quiver is 108 Billygoat Tour, and 189 Praxis/PM Gear Kusala. Resort skis, plan is to keep my 184 Piste Jibs and 191 Lhasa Pow Fats.

If anyone has tried to PM me about these, my account was temporarily deactivated due to an email change. Please send me another message.

If you've got the touring bug, and will be in California, put some pin binders on there. You won't regret it. Protest is an amazing soft-show touring ski.

Sold today. Probably going to regret it. ^ UL Veneer Kusalas should do nicely for that

Glad you turned them. Looked like a good deal. I suspect you need some van life$$. But that's okay.

Proud new owner. If anyone is in Aspen on a deep day and I’m stuck in the office, hit me up to take them for a spin.
