12-15ish on my down 110s when I had more vertical touring.
And 10-12 on my Rocker 122s with my beast 16 or sth2 on lift served or sub 800m vertical touring.
I toured a lot because getting in and out of switzerland was complicated due to corona.

I only have two setups because I don't ski when it's not 25cm /10inches of fresh or more.

With no fresh snow for me Jan thru March the trusty Kastle mx84's did the heavy lifting. A couple of days on the Lhasa Pows and Atomic Vantage 100's in Dec. Never got to use the new Praxis. Hoefully next season.

Good season in the central Sierra CA even with record dry winter. Guessing I got at least 80 days in this year, mostly bc. Was on Volkl Nunataqs for nearly all of those bc days, with maybe 3 days on G3 Zenoxide C93s and four days on Black Crows Anima Freebirds. Oh, I pulled the old G3 Rapid Transits out for a couple of days when my Nunataqs and C93s came up lame. Bought the Nunataqs a few years ago for winter bc, but like them so much I rarely ski anything else. Looked around for more modern reverse camber bc skis to replace them, but couldn't find a good price point, so bought an unmounted pair of Nunataqs (thanks, Harry!). Skied maybe fifteen days at the resort, some powder days, some bluebird groomers with my wife. Nordica Enforcer 110s got most of those days. They ski groomers so well that my G3 Tickets didn't see the snow this year. Volkl Confessions saw some powder day action. Praxis Powderboards, Praxis Concepts, and G3 Manhattans didn't see any action because of so few resort days. Bluehouse Mavens are reserved for early season lowtide bc rock skis, but we got a big dump early so they slept all season.

This century I went from the 2 pairs (SL/rocks and GS/Bumps/Powder)I had been skiing since 1982 to like a quiver of 20 pairs around 2012. I tried to ski them all at least a couple hours to justify buying them. I'm now back to just skiing a daily driver 90% of the time unless something really unusual is going on, big dump, NASTAR, gonna stay in the bumps, etc.. I'm thinking a quiver of more than 4 pairs has jumped the shark for me.. Probably really only need 2 pairs.

Bought and then sold —- without skiing:

Volkl K108 (lost $50 on this deal), decided no on the -11 rec mount,

K2 Mindbender 116C (made $100 on these). Replaced with BC 110 and 120.


Considering for next year’s quiver:

Selling the 180cm Proto 118 and 181cm Nomad 115, which are both great skis, but too many pow skis >115mm with the addition of the 184cm Revolt 121 and 184cm BC 120. Didn't need the BC 120s, but got a smokin' deal on this years with new Shifts when I bought the 180 cm BC 110s (which got my Tectons from the Mindbenders). Kinda liking longer ~184cm pow skis.

Next fall may pick up a ~180cm, 108mm chargier type ski….eg a 179cm MB108Ti (cheap right now!) Though I’m sure once I see the new 180cm Nordica Unleashed 108 I’ll want one. Or maybe a 4FRNT Devastator if the top sheets improve (ie not made for a 12 yr old boy) or I may try a Moment Deathwish again (last skied Moments in 2014).

Best day of the year was Jan 3/2022….62cm overnight at Whitewater!

Skied my Mantra M102’s the most followed by MFree108 and Katana K108. Only skied my Billy Goats once. Didn’t get on anything over 116-mm this year. Weird.

Dragon Mantra rock skis to open.
M102 daily driver if I'm not playing with the new toys. They've held that spot since early 2019 and I don't see that changing any time soon, its versatility is just so dialed in.
Moment Wildcat for powder and post-powder. As you would expect for the Banff area this year they rested after January.
Paradise Red had several days to see if I liked them. Did not, too short and light for inbounds. Still has some potential if/when I swap for casts and skins. Swapped midday to the M102 more than once.
Paradise Vice 113 was trialed as a mainstay to the end of the season. I bought on a demo day to fill that 110mm gap in my quiver. Turns out it's 115mm on the size I bought, and it's so similar to the wildcat that logically I should ditch one of them.

Did not ski the 2018 Kendo at all, or had half a day on them early season to eat rocks until I was confident the base was deep enough. Can't recall. Still need to find the ideal ~110mm all-conditions ski, and other than a future touring setup or cheater, my quiver is locked in. 120+mm doesn't have much to do in a place that just dusts consistently and sees true dumps maybe once a year.

Finished the season with a Corvus 188, Corvus FB 183, Atris 184, Nocta 190, and a Ferox 181.

I bought and sold a Serpo 180, Justis 189, bodacious 186 to bandit man that is my biggest regret ever, a Atris 184 I ended up replacing with another, a Corvus 183 that I should of kept as well, a Corvus FB 188 that I don’t miss and was a handful for my size. I also bought and sold a Corvus FB 176 that was too short for what I wanted. Oh and I sold a nocta 185.

I am happy with the 5 I have. I want a 183 Corvus again but can’t justify it as my Atris is more playful and my Corvus 188 is a mean machine. I would like to probably grab a k108 and a revolt 121 just because. The heritage labs 113 is tempting but the top sheet is the most god awful color ever.

191 Mantra, most days. It was a very firm year punctuated by short, big storms, a little too few and far between.

188 Stockli Scot Schmidt Pro. ~10 days. Preferred groomer-zoomer, but it was boney and I'm not ready to abuse them yet.

Maybe 110-20 days split between resort skiing at La Grave and touring.

Most used to least used:
Kastle MX 98 184cm, cherry tipped version. Got these for a bargain to be used as rock skis, but ended up using them pretty much everyday. The suspension and dampening is just amazing. They reward good technique but never feel like hard work.
Blizzard Cochise 106 185cm. Used these a lot at the start of the season, and liked them, but grew increasingly ambivalent towards them as the season progressed. To my mind they are too 'easy' and sit in a middle ground between a charger and playful ski, fulfilling neither task perfectly. The suspension isn't great for a ski of its weight, nor the float for a ski of its width. Going to get rid of them. M-Free 108 and Sender Squads at the top of the list.
Black Crows Atris 184. My go to touring ski. Manoeuvrable and easy, with solid edge grip. I didn't often regret carrying the extra weight. Sadly now up for replacement as I lost one of them two weeks ago in Chamonix. Thinking maybe Faction Agents or Majesty Havocs.
Scott Scrapper Pro Model 189cm. Absolute beasts that whipped my ass at the start of the season. Now we're good friends and I love them. Never been on something so stable and confidence inspiring, they still pivot well with good speed. Straight-lining has never been easier. I enjoy their demanding character, no place to hide. It's a shame that the build quality on what is meant to be one of the most badass skis in history is terrible, I spent maybe 200 euros getting them repaired this year.
Salomon MTN 95. Good skis, I like them in steeps especially, but I want a bit of extra weight in my touring skis for most conditions.

Ya I loved them....but I needed them to be longer than 178cm with their profile (so much tip/tail rocker). Replaced with a 184cm Volkl Revolt 121 for my fun pow ski, which will ski pretty short too at -3.8cm.

Sold the Blanks locally via FB marketplace which seems easier than the tax schmozzle selling on ebay now?? Seems ebay is taking tax off the seller proceeds and you don't get as much as you used to.

MVP 108 - prolly 35+ days - these things rule in all conditions and surprisingly excellent in spring snow. New go to skis for sure

Bibby Pro - pow days, probably got 7-9 days on them. Skiing these is always a treat

PB&J - early season and a decent number of days during high pressure. My previous favorites last season but I think the MVP wins out now since they’re less hooky

Hojis - pow touring, probably 5-7 days (and good ones at that)

Bentchetler 100 - bigger touring days and hut trips, probably 8-10 days. Don’t know how much I actually like these but they do the job just fine

My general rule is I sell a ski if I didn’t ski it at least 5 days in a season so I think I’m keeping my quiver at least until I start obsessively buying skis again in the fall
