I was the GC for building my house at 10,200ft
If anyone is interested? I just passed final inspection...exhausting but worth it. I guess I should post a pic?

I've been watching the Netflix series "Grand Designs". Takes place in the UK. Kind of crazy to watch these people sometimes spend years as their own GC and actually doing a lot of the build themselves. Anyhow, props to you Shera. That's no easy task.

We GC's adding a 2nd story to our house in Sac in '87. I wouldn't try it today, things in California have gotten a lot more complicated since then. Now my architect/contractor friend has trouble doing his own addition.
